Initial Qualification

  • Internet Digital Signature Capture automatically generates employment verification forms and sends them to carriers in minutes.
  • Accepts/ rejects applicants based on carrier standards. Maintains disqualified applicant records for specific period of time.
  • Routes marginal applicants to appropriate personnel for review.
  • Tracks applicants that do not meet experience or age requirements. Alerts personnel when requirements are met.
  • Qualifies Owner/ Operators based on equipment type.
  • Automatically notifies applicants of their status.
  • Generates marketing reports for lead source tracking.
  • Generates referral bonuses to existing personnel for hired applicants and distributed through SHIPS Driver Settlement Application.

Background Verification

  • The system generates and bar codes release forms to identify the previous carrier and applicant. Exports returned release form to carrier via fax, email or USPS. *Electronically sign and return forms via email with SHIPS Digital Signature Capture capability.
  • Automatically generates alert notifications to trigger required action.
  • Compares data contained in USIS reports against applicant information, routing discrepancies to an exception queue for review.
  • Generates and tracks offer and rejection letters.

On-boarding/Orientation

  • The system creates class roster and sends confirmation via email to new hire. 
  • Interfaces to carrier website to provide online access and tracking of transportation and lodging information.
  • Scans and confirms signature documents and orientation policies.
  • Automatically generates electronic orientation forms from driver files.
  • Validates driver files to insure all information is received and stored.
  • Automatically sends notification to driver if data is not complete, eliminating a manual audit process.

Post Orientation

  • Generates e-form to create driver code once all required documents and procedures are validated as “complete”.
  • Sends required information to the accounting and dispatch system and sets driver status to “active”.
  • Exports information to SHIPS Driver management module to store as active driver.
  • Executes termination workflow upon separation. Integrates with accounting and dispatch to complete the termination process.
  • Tracks and stores eligible drivers in database to communicate future employment opportunities.
